A piece of rigid, tube-shaped chitin from the inside of a giant bug. It seemed to be performing some kind of support role. You're quite sure normal insects don't have these.
A long, flexible rod of chitin from inside a giant mutant bug. It is laced with blood vessels and chitinous nodules.
